The Students’ Governing Body/ The Prefects’ Body is coordinated by the deputy principal, Mrs. Gichuki, and led by the head girl. The prefects’ body has been an important group in the school. 
We have been able to make the school shine in many activities such as supervising duties, maintaining silence in classes thus enabling each and every student to concentrate in their studies, guiding and counselling other students, solving minor cases and also settling disputes among students. The prefects act as role models to other students.
Each prefect follows and obeys the school rules to lead by example. Our body consists of different prefects. There is the head girl, compound prefects, dining hall prefects, dormitory prefects, laboratory prefects, library prefects, class prefects, entertainment prefects and the games captain. All these groups work together as a team to maintain order in the school.
Our prefects’ body has been able to prevent noise making, rumour mongering and time wastage which streamlines the school day-to-day activities. We are now working to put an end to the negative attitude some students have towards teachers and subjects. We are also building team spirit among ourselves.
